Description
There is a larger cliff band above the Clairabell Mine wall that contains several routes. Only one route is currently listed here. See the "40 Minutes from Leadville" Guidebook for beta on additional routes.

Getting There
From the east parking lot, follow the East descent trail past Clairabell Mine, and continue uphill along the trail. Sometime before reaching the summit, turn left (south) on a climber's trail to the base of the routes. I believe this left turn is after the first gully that you scramble up and before the second gully. The trail may not be well marked or easy to find, but it cuts off at a large pine tree. Keep your eyes peeled. It's an area that has been used for years by groups but doesn't see much traffic.
