Description
As you walk to the right from Winter wall, look for an obvious roof with fixed quick draws. This is the left/low end of the Summer Wall. Some of those roof climbs are closed projects. If the first bolt is marked with a red tag (typically tape but can be many materials) the route is not yet open to the public. There are some really interesting mostly short routes here and you get afternoon shade.
Getting There
Most of Russell's developed climbing is housed in 2 parallel gullies with a rock buttress running down the middle. Summer wall forms the right side of the buttress. The routes are accessed via a switchback trail that works up the hill along the short cliff and spans all the way up to the top of the gully.
