Description Suggest change

A very popular peak from Bishop Pass. The beauty of so many Sierra Peaks is that spring routes on these peaks are there to be had in May (give or take a bit). The northwest aspect of Agassiz is a great example of a peak that is quite attractive and easy to get to - particularly on low snow years where access is better.

Getting There Suggest change

The routes on the Northwest and West side of Agassiz are easily approached from Bishop Pass - 6 easy miles from the trailhead at South Lake
