The Central UP has a good assortment of bouldering options. Rock variety includes Gneiss/Granite, Quartzite, and Basalt/Diabase. You can boulder up high with views of the surrounding peaks and lake, or you can boulder right on the shore of the lake superior. There is something for everyone in the UP with grades from V-easy to V-project.
