Description
Small cluster of freestanding quartzite boulders that are relatively tall at 15-17 feet.
Getting There
County Rd 553 south-southwest'ish from Marquette (can get onto 553 from US41 or we took McClellan south from US41/M28). Drive past the ski hill around the corner. There will be a round-dome shaped house on the left (east) side of the rd kinda tucked in the trees and a radio tower - turn left onto the dirt road immediately after the round house - park by the tower maintenance building or the next little parking area - obvious trail northeast off the 2nd parking area. - 5 min hike to base of rock. Follow the new bike trail to climbers left of cliff. You will see a cluster of boulders from the bike trail in 100-200 yards.
