Description
Winter wall is just a magnificent expression of the diversity of schist. Crystals and swirls of colors, oranges and grays and whites and browns. Its layered and melted and folded and now bolted. A super fun place to climb! Do the winter wall circuit! You wont be disappointed.
This area gets a lot of sun and is generally sheltered.
Getting There
After taking the stream trail to the bent tree near the roadhouse there are two options. One is to turn left and take the yellow trail up past the Janky butress and the Diamond then turn right. The other is continue following the pink trail untill it heads steeply up a gully. There is left turn about halfway up that traverses over to the winter and summer walls.
It's more or less the center point of all the crags. The base of this crag is defined by a scree field. You'll probably know when you've found it.
