Description
After Rain Wall is a small wall with multiple surpringly fun sport, mixed, and trad routes on the granite rock that lines Escalante Creek. If you need a break from splitter sandstone cracks (or if it has rained in the last two days) and crave clipping bolts on gritty granite, find this area near the Potholes Recreation Site (campground).
Getting There
Drive past the Potholes parking area till the road bends, and park on the right side of the road in a pulloff. Walk back down the road to the curve, then walk down the small ridge to the south till you reach the cliff band. Skirt the band to the left to get to the base of climbs by the creek. Be careful not to step on the cryptobiotic soil crusts.
