Description Suggest change

The climbing is situated on a slab that faces east. You will have sun until around 12:30 shade after.

The slab currently has 6-8 routes from 5.8 single pitch sport to 5.10+ 2 pitch sport. All routes are sport routes. All routes are descended via rappel. A single 70 meter rope just makes it  to rap each of the pitches.

Getting There Suggest change

Turn off Hwy 1 onto the road to San Javier. After 10.35 miles and 21 minutes driving park off the road and hike up the obvious drainage to the north. The Tombstone formation will be visible to the north about half way up the mountain just to the left of the obvious boulder field. Follow Cairns for 45-60 minutes until at the base of the Tombstone slab. The approach is well marked with rock cairns. Note: The trail does leave the bottom of the drainage several times , always on the left.  The end of the approach is up the center of the obvious boulder field. Several locations are 3rd - 4th class. This is a strenuous hike.
