Description Suggest change

Font Soleia refers to all of the crags located off of the Font Soleia trail that splits off of the trail that goes up to La Mola. Many of the most visited crags of Sant Llorenç are accessed by this trail including Els Diedres, Paret Gran, El Gruyére, Mur Blau, and La Sibèria.

Note: Many of the routes start on questionable rock for the first couple of meters, because of this it's really good to stick clip the first bolt of all of the climbs, and is particularly important that the belayer wears a helmet.

Getting There Suggest change

Park here on the side of the road in a neighbourhood. The trail is obvious and starts off of the right side of the road. goo.gl/maps/TkBwgJJj9gMLfL6z7

The approach is intense by Spain standards. The trail is very good and well maintained, but the approach is about 30 minutes and consistently uphill. Follow signs for La Mola, after about 30 minutes of hiking you will reach a split where the trail for La Mola goes left and a smaller trail for "Font Soleia" goes to the right. There is a small sign with graffiti on it that marks this split (see photos). Follow the right fork towards Font Soleia after a minute or two you you will pretty much immediately start seeing walls, and Paret Gran is just a few minutes after the split.
