Description Suggest change

The beautiful rock surrounding this small bay, known for its three glacially formed potholes (with potentially more underwater), is most frequently used as a popular picnic destination or as a canoe portage route. It has several steep walls on its north side, with a few fun DWS routes on bullet Nipissing Diabase.

While the climbing in this bay is not within the bounds of the Whitefish River First Nation owned land, it does fall within an area of Special Consideration to the local community. It is imperative that visitors act responsibly and with respect, making sure to tread lightly on this area of cultural and historic significance.

Getting There Suggest change
