Description Suggest change

The area around the NW end of Cranberry Pond contains many very large boulders. In addition to one-pitch roped climbs on the larger boulders, there are smaller boulders that offer interesting bouldering.

Getting There Suggest change

Follow Route 27 a few kilometers west of the Sugarloaf Ski Area enterance. Turn right at Stratton Brook Pond Road, and follow that for about 2 km to its intersection with the Appalachian Trail. Park there and walk northward on the Appalachian Trail. After about 4 km, you will arrive at the intersection with the Bigelow Range Trail. Follow the Bigelow Range Trail westward to Cranberry Pond, and continue to the NW end of the pond.
