Description Suggest change

Hide Your Crack boulder is east of the Spite Your Face wall and slab.

The 14' crack climb is hidden from view from any trail and can only be seen from atop other boulders or if you crawl under a boulder through a tunnel. If you see a large sharp boulder west of and resting upon a red granite slab boulder Hide The Crack is just east of it down below. Climbing up this pile of boulders and looking down will make it obvious whereas hiking to the east and looking uphill is not as obvious. This climb should be out of the sun most of the day.

Getting There Suggest change

34.746268, -98.543504

From the exit of the Mt Scott Camping area which is 0.25 miles west of the 6' monolith at the base of Mt Scott Road, hike 0.9 miles skirting the SW flank of Mt Scott's Boy and following the meadow to Hunting Horse Hill's southern slope. Follow the slope NE and after passing a few large boulders you will see Spite Your Face Wall on top of the first obvious slab.

Hide The Crack boulder will be pointed out in the photo gallery since the crack is not visible from the trails.
