Starting September 30, 2025 through October 31 the following crags will be closed 7 days a week (per ryan laird) (not Monday through Friday) while forest fire mitigation work is under way:
- Dines Cliff
- Reynolds Wall
- The Raven
The Mason Creek Trail will be closed and a helicopter will be assisting the mitigation operations.
- Lion's Head
- Roughneck Area
- Wildcatter Wall
Note that the annual closures of the Park View Dome, The Ranch Hand, Black Creek Wall, and Sawmill Crag have been permanently lifted. These cliffs will continue to be monitored, but will only close if a new nest is spotted.
Description
The Trek Wall has moderate trad routes. There is a third class walk-off gully to the west. Trek Wall is currently the furthest left sector of the Dines Cliff band.
Getting There
From the Meadow parking lot trailhead, take the Dines Meadow Trail to the Mason Creek (MC) Trail. Turn left/uphill on MC. After several hundred yards, find the Dines Climbing Access Trail sigh on the left. Walk the access trail up to the cliff. When the trail meets the cliff, turn left/uphill. Pass the amphitheater and most of the Blazing Saddles routes. The trail drops slightly down the hill from the Blazing Saddles base then continues West and up. The wall has a flat and often shady base area.
