Description
The Carwash is a new area that started being developed in 2020; these routes are not in the Hawk guide.
This area is not in the seasonal falcon closure zone -- all-year sending!
A canopy of trees keeps these walls shaded most of the day.
All established climbs have comfy belays and it's a mellow/pleasant walk to the walls.
Getting There
West across the bridge, south approx. 1/4-mile to a large grassy pullout on the west side of the road. Park and find a cairn that will guide you to an obvious trail up the hill. Go up the trail, past the Mac's bucket, and up to and past the Mario Land boulders to The Carwash walls, an approx. five-minute approach from the road. Levitation 37 and Belated B-Day are left of the boulders, the rest of the routes are right. A vague trail crosses the base of the wall; it's easiest to go up to the left routes and walk right below the walls to the right routes.
