All raptor closures have ended as of 8/13/26. Below is historical info.

2026 Seasonal Raptor Closure details: fs.usda.gov/sites/nfs/files…
The seasonal closure to protect peregrine falcons is in effect for some crags on the west side of Lake Koocanusa. Closed crags include:
Dihedral Wall
Koocanusa Crags (Hidden Buttress, Great White Wall, Pit Stop, The Ruins, Upper and Lower Grandstand)
Naked Cliff
Science Lab
Sunburst Crags
Dawn Walls
Don Juan
All other westside crags are unaffected by the closure. The closure ends August 31.

Description
Mac's Super Gloss isn't just a catchy name: Thin, slippery, tenuous, steep ... once you get above the third/last bolt it's easier (gear) to the top.
If you’re into this style, this is one of the coolest (if not ascetically pleasing) routes of its kind at all of Stone Hill.
