The seasonal closure to protect peregrine falcons is in effect for some crags on the west side of Lake Koocanusa. Closed crags include:

Dihedral Wall
Koocanusa Crags (Hidden Buttress, Great White Wall, Pit Stop, The Ruins, Upper and Lower Grandstand)
Naked Cliff
Science Lab
Sunburst Crags
Dawn Walls
Don Juan

All other westside crags are unaffected by the closure. The closure ends August 31.

Description

All routes sorted here are on the westside of the Koocanusa Reservoir along National Forest Development Road 228 (paved), within two miles north to eight miles south of the Koocanusa Bridge.

All routes are either east- or south-facing.

Getting There

On Route 37, about 15 miles south of Eureka, Montana, turn west to cross the Koocanusa Bridge, there are walls north and south of the bridge.
