2026 Seasonal Raptor Closure details: fs.usda.gov/sites/nfs/files…
The seasonal closure to protect peregrine falcons is in effect for some crags on the west side of Lake Koocanusa. Closed crags include:
Dihedral Wall
Koocanusa Crags (Hidden Buttress, Great White Wall, Pit Stop, The Ruins, Upper and Lower Grandstand)
Naked Cliff
Science Lab
Sunburst Crags
Dawn Walls
Don Juan
All other westside crags are unaffected by the closure. The closure ends August 31.

All routes sorted here are on the west side of the lake, south of the Koocanusa Bridge.
* - Walls/crags with an asterisk are within the seasonal falcon closure area; these crags are typically closed to climbing from around March 20 to August 1 each year (as of 2024). Walls without an asterisk are open to year round climbing.
