Description

The only true roof in Marquette. Swamp Thing is a large tablet that extends out of a hillside, creating an absolutely stunning, 18’ wide roof feature. Home to many of the UP’s hardest lines, this spot should be at the top of any dedicated boulder’s list of crags to hit! Although many of the pure lines have been sent, there remains plenty of potential for additional link-ups and traverses.

Getting There

Follow directions on the main Lily Pond Page. Then cross the swamp and hike up the hill and parallel the swamp. The roof lies a few hundred feet past the Dream
