Getting There
This is most easily approached from the East Bluff trail, west of Devil's Doorway. On the East Bluff trail proper, just west of the Doorway, the trail steps up/down through a short cliff band. At the bottom of these steps is a gully headed straight down - the footing is a little loose. You'll see a series of pillars on your right. Ghost Pillar is the second from the bottom.
Alternatively, for a more direct approach, scramble up the talus starting from the Purple Haze boulder off the Grottos Trail, in a straight line up past Thrasher until the talus runs out. Hike up the gully after the treeline until you see the pillars on your left.
