Description

Tafelberg is the premiere cliff of Curacao. The mountain is located on the private property of Santa Barbara Plantation and in July 2021, Rock Climbing Curacao obtained permission to develop and manage the climbing resources. The limestone walls at Tafelberg are up to about 35 meters in height and currently have more than 100 routes from about 5.5 to 5.12.

Access to climb at Tafelberg can be arranged through Rock Climbing Curacao ("RCC") and a fee is charged. RCC also leads hikes up and around the mountain and in the future, hopes to include mountain biking and other activities.

Getting There

To climb at Tafelberg, you'll need to coordinate with Rock Climbing Curacao. The RCC office is located right outside the front gate of the Santa Barbara Plantation/Sandals resort.
