Description
Near the border of Wisconsin and Michigan, 2hr north of Green Bay, is a bunch of old mining towns. They were after some of the same rock you could be. The rock here is typically hard quartzite/granite and often forms either smooth, crackless climbs, or blocky and jug-filled routes. Prominent ridges formed mostly East to West and offer great South facing crags with panoramic views.
Tons of roped climbs and boulder routes are added every season so check back often for new opportunities.
