Description Suggest change

Tucked away little crag on Pine Creek (also called Rock Dam locally). South facing but kept cool by the creek and valley so this is an optimal spot when the weather is hot in Iron Mountain.

Campside rock starts out as clean but ledgy quartzite, turns to vertical buggy and a very technical face as you go up-river, and ends blocky and loose with several roofs to challenge the best.

Getting There Suggest change

From M-95: Turn onto Sportsman's Club Road (3.9 miles north of US-2/M-95 junction) drive until you reach an obvious sharp 90 degree and turn right onto gravel/dirt road, following signs for Carney Lake Campground (same beginning to reach Carney Area). After passing the gravel/shooting pit on your left, continue for about 800 feet and instead of following Carney Lake Rd left, head straight down a tighter 2-track road. Continue for 1.25 miles until you reach a cul de sac on your left to park at. Hike east to the stream and the routes.
