Description Suggest change

Bouldering development has started in the Carney Powerline area, but further exploration and development still need to take place. The main development has taken place in the North Boulders area, but southern outcroppings should also be explored.

Getting There Suggest change

From Iron Mountain, head north on M-95, then take a right on Sportsmans club road. Continue until the sharp 90 degree left turn in the road, then turn right down the dirt/gravel road. Follow Carney Lake Road for roughly 2 miles, over a bridge and then a culvert. Continue until the powerline area becomes obvious alongside Carney Lake Road. There is some room for parking just off the road within the powerline clearing.
