Description Suggest change

This unnamed peak is located about 1/3 mile north of Point Powell, and is recognizable by its broad east face which looks down on Sunset Lake. There are two known route - a class-4 climb on the southeast side of the true summit (far far left side of the wall) and The Falcon - a grade III 5.10 rock route up the right side of the wall.

Getting There Suggest change

Sabrina Trailhead to Blue Lake, then following the trail to Baboon Lakes. Skirt the eastern shores of the largest Baboon Lake and head cross country towards the back of the basin and up through talus and open slabs to Sunset Lake (~6 miles). A handful of campsites exist around the mouth of the lake. Follow a bench high above the western shore of Sunset Lake and then up onto talus and/or snow to the base of the wall (45 min). Crampons may be useful depending on seasonal conditions.
