Description
This is arguably the best cliff at Cahorros. It's location means the crowds of tourists are never seen, and rarely heard. The climbing is generally hard, the rock is bomber and as a consequence the routes are excellent. There are some steep powerful climbs in the middle sections (5.13+), but to the edges there is plenty vertical vice (5.12+) to keep everyone happy. One of the best routes on the crag El Sexo de los ángeles is only 5.11d and a must do.
Even if you are not climbing, the fun approach is worth the adventure.
Getting There
Hike up the gorge passing over the long bridge, and along the tight narrow gorge. As the gorge trail turns right look for a dark recess on the right before the trail heads into another tight section. Head up this recess (you will want a head torch) and look for the fixed rope. With the rope at hand climb up the chimney, then up and backwards towards the light. Once at the top of the passage head up and around to the right. The cliff is straight in front of you.
