Access Issue: Falcon Closures from February 1st until July 15th Details

Granite Mountain is closed between February 1st and July 15th for peregrine falcon nesting!

Description

Another small crag that isn't affected by the peregrine closure and offers 4 established routes and the opportunity for some new development. It's a fun afternoon jaunt with nice views of the mountain and the surrounding rocks, etc. Not really a destination crag, just something fun to explore while in the area during the closure season.

Getting There

You can approach either via the trail that shows up on the topo map that I'm posting by parking at the day use area where the host trailer is parked, or from the trailhead at the equestrian parking area that is right by the main gates.
