Description
The Peavine Trail runs for 5.2 miles and travels along the east side of Watson Lake towards 89A, connecting many beautiful Dells crags.
Getting There
The ideal entry point onto the Peavine depends on which crag you are headed to. A bicycle makes the approaches to these areas really quick.
Parking at the Prescott Peavine Trailhead is convenient and has a $3 fee. It is a large paved parking area and is reached from Prescott Lakes Parkway from either Hwy 69 or from Hwy 89 in Prescott.
Middle entries include a 4-5 car pull off on N Granite Gardens Dr and hiking to Peavine on an eastern foot trail, or park behind Three Sisters Consignment and hike/bike in via the Gateway trailhead.
The northern terminus off of Granite Dells Parkway is a great way to access the few crags on the northern end.
