Morro do Moreno is an urban climbing sector located in Vila Velha, the most popular climbing center in the Greater Vitoria area, with over 50 routes.
Sport crags are the main climbing here, but there are also boulders, trad, two pitch routes and aid climbing.
From a certain angle, Morro do Moreno looks like a lying down monkey, so the sectors are named for the body parts.
The style is mainly technical climbing in vertical and slabs on small holds and friction/smearing.
The rock is granite (good quality and abrasive).

Getting There Suggest change

Acess by Rua Xavantes (Xavantes St) in Praia da Costa neighborhood, from where all trails to the crags, boulders and summit starts.
Land is public, no permission needed.
