Description

This impressive canyon is located about 30 minutes west of the city of Nis in southern Serbia. There are traditional climbs up to 200 meters in length as well as sport climbs.

Getting There

The canyon is located about 30 minutes west of the city of Nis in southern Serbia. Highway E-80 passes through the canyon from Prosek to Crvena Reka.

E-80 is a major thoroughfare and thus, the amount of traffic (and the speed at which they are traveling) is fairly terrifying. On your first visit, you'll likely want to drive all the way through the canyon and then turn around and come back. Parking is limited, cars and trucks are going very fast and there's no time to dilly dally in the travel lanes.
