Description
Laughing Lion is a beautiful southwest facing schist and granite cliff that is the main feature visible from the Evan's Notch Overlook. Routes vary from single pitch sport to 4 pitch trad climbs.
Getting There
Past the Evan's Notch Overlook, locate a dirt parking lot on the left side of the road. Follow that trail for about a mile until the trail takes a sharp turn right. At this point you will be able to see what looks like a drainage on the left, its actually a relatively well beaten climbers trail. Locate a small carin and follow the climbers trail to the cliff. Where the trail forks, stay low to get to main cliff, go up hill to get to the hard sport climbs of gully wall.
