All of the crags within the New River Gorge proper are on national parklands, and drone use is prohibited here. There has been some discussion about places to launch drones that are not on park property, and then flying them over the gorge. This is super poor form; don't do it. Park regulations prohibit all drone use over the boundaries without a permit.
Description
This small cliffline is the first area encountered when hiking from the AAC campground, and is a beautiful little spot for hanging out, warming up, or occasionally frequenting one of the Craggin' Classic's infamous late-night dance parties. Many problems here favor technique over brawn.
Getting There
This is the first area you reach when walking from the AAC campground. Follow the wide dirt path leading uphill into the woods from the southernmost tip of the AAC campground loop. You'll pass a metal sign for Tuggin' Shack about halfway there. When the trail slants downhill the forest opens up and the cliffs are on your right, you can't miss it.
