Getting There

The closest parking is at China Cove Swimming Beach. It is paid and included in the general admission to Donner Memorial State Park. Enter the park at the main entrance. Make the first right toward all swimming beaches. Drive to a parking lot at the end of the road. It is about 5 minute drive. The boulders are 1 minute from the China Cove parking lot.

You can park for free on Donner Pass road, it will about a 20-minute approach to China Cove.
