Probably back in the old days, before it closed. I got a request to put in a separate sub-area for bouldering, so there's been interest. Sort of the "next thing" to do here is a sketch map of the "principal" boulders (and, since some are quite large, perhaps each becomes a sub-area to the "Bouldering" area itself) and then work up routes.

I was going to go back in and do the sketch map and post it, but feel free to do this if you're in there anyways! May 27, 2018
Got out there this weekend to look around. Cleaned and sent a problem on the Entrance Boulder, a few more are just waiting to be scrubbed a bit surrounding them. Anyway, there are some massive boulders in this place, the problem is most of what I saw was low on features and had some really bad landings. I feel like there is some potential for some really hard classic lines but they will require a decent amount of pads and some strong nerves. I want to get back and maybe clean a few more lines on the Entrance Boulder and then maybe wait for the leaves to fall before going back again. There are some great "safer" lines out there, it would just be easier to navigate all the terrain in the fall. I did come across some chalk up holds and a stashed rope/prybar/ and steel brush so someone else is checking things out as well. I was surprised whomever this was hadn't put any work in on the entrance boulder yet. Jun 24, 2018
Two things to be aware of, one kind of obvious is the ticks, they were pretty bad in some spots out there. The other is a potential person living in a cave directly behind you if you are looking at the Flight face on the Entrance boulder. There is some old rusty pieces of sheet metal creating a wall and I saw some clothes laying around it that didn't look that weathered. I didn't go down and check it out, and maybe its abandoned but I did have the weird sensation of eyes being on me, a little freaky while being by myself. Jun 24, 2018
