Description
Primarily a bouldering area with some potential for short trad climbs and sport climbs. The area has become really active in the last few months (March 2018) and now has 30-40 people climbing here every weekend. The area is pretty active during the weekdays as well with people climbing a couple of hours after sunset! Get in touch with Gujju, from the Bangalore climbers Facebook page to make climbing plans here. The locals are super friendly and camping is possible. (The climbers have spotted a couple of leopard kills recently, so camping alone isn't recomended)

Getting There
The location point is also saved on google maps as avati/avathi rock climbing spot. From the Bangalore airport highway take the right towards Nandi hills. 5kms down this road you should see a hillock on your left just by the road, turn right here and keep going straight for another 300-400 meters after which there's an obvious right turn (a mud trail). 400-500 meters down this trail is the parking spot marked here and on google maps!
