Description
A few quality boulders among the brush, great views with quality stone make this area a great experience. Broad range of difficulties here makes it enjoyable for most. It seems likely that folks climbed here in the past. Let me know if anyone has information on the boulders listed and i'm happy to change names or put in FA information.
Getting There
From Prescott - drive west on Copper Basin road towards Skull Valley. After the road turns to dirt continue straight through the 4-way intersection with Thumb Butte Rd / Mt. Francis. Continue another few miles past a few private roads, park in a nice pull out on the left side of Copper Basin Road while still in the Pine. Hike southeast to a prominent ridge where it changes to brush on a west facing slope. You will come to the first boulder with a few nice warm ups. Continue following the ridge to a decent game trail that leads down to the main boulders. Google Pin is pretty accurate.
