Description

Virtually right "in town", 5 min. "approach" with 26-or-so-routes: five (5) 5a to 5c+ (5.7+ to 5.9+), six 6a's (5.10a), eight (8) 6a+'s to 6B+'s ( 5.10 a/b to 5.10c) and the rest 6c's or 7's . Best reference is probably Theodoropoulos's guidebook on Leonidio and Kyparissi, 2021 edition.

Getting There

As you drive out of the main town of Kyparissi towards the Watermill area, look for a church directly below the cliff (photo of cliff). There is very limited parking (2 cars) on dirt to the right of the church. There used to be dirt parking across the street, but that now seems to be in the process of building something. We (in 2018) parked about 300 ft away where a small shrine presented a place to park.

Walk to the right of the church, over the small stream to the cemetery, take a sharp right hand turn, then a left through an olive grove to the climber's path. 5 min. to the cliff. You reach the cliff in the vicinity of the climb "Sirmas" ( # 5 in the Theodoropoulos book).

GPS NOTE- I did my best to put the GPS indicator in the cliff, but the "world photo" around Kyparissi is hazy and impossible to zoom-in on with accuracy.
