Description

The first pinnacle you will come to off the trail. This pinnacle likely has the most established routes in the lower menagerie, but many have not been climbed in years. The rock that isn't covered in several inches of moss is actually quite good from my experience.

Visited Rooster today. Callis route P1 is covered in moss deep enough to hide the bolts. No evidence it's been climbed recently. Bring a wire brush. Aug 5, 2018

Did the 5.4R to the top. I scrubbed the holds as I went. The anchor was new and solid. All of the routes seemed pretty dirty and in need of having the bolts replaced. But way cleaner than the routes in the upper Menagerie. Aug 13, 2018
