There are some good VF routes in the (large) Piemonte region, including

• VF Rocca Clari - by Col de Montgenevre on the France-Italy frontier.
• VF di Camoglieres - in Cuneo province.
• VF dei Funs di Entracque - in Cuneo province.
• VF Nito Staich - at Oropa in Biella province.

There's a new one in 2016 in the SW by the frontier with France.

• VF del Bec Vallete (or VF di Limone) -- Haven't tried it yet, but looks like has some opportinities for free moves. One web page says if VF-specific difficulty is 3rd level on a VF scale of 6 levels. Near the ski station of Limone Piemonte in SW corner of Cuneo province.
