Description

Classic Cascate di Lillaz and other ice climbs can be found here a short distance on SR47 from Cogne.

Getting There

Continue on SR47 from Cogne. Park at the Cascate di Lillaz parking area which is in front of of La Maison Du Gout Cafe. The cafe is great for after climb snacks/food/drinks and has a guidebook to peruse. Unfortunately, the cafe is not open super early, so hit the cafe in the center of Cogne - especially if you are driving an need to use a bathroom. From the parking lot, cross the bridge and head down Frazione Lillaz. Cascate di Lillaz will be on the left (signed) and for other falls further down the valley continue straight ahead and follow the signs.
