Description
The east face of Higher Education Ridge is the cliff seen through the trees above and just to the northwest of the large parking area (with the drive-around pine). Except for the routes in the so-called “cave” area, the rock here is generally slabby and moss covered, so not a lot has been done. The routes in the “cave” area are overhanging, but the “cave,” which is maybe only 10 feet deep (it appears to be an old prospect), is not a feature that any of the routes ascend. If headed here, consider bringing a plastic bag to pick up the inevitable beer can or two – it’s a known party spot.
