Noticed several tents while walking into the emeralds climbing area this last weekend ( 5/20/17 ). PG&E (Pacific Gas and Electric) has posted several signs at the gate and other areas that state camping is NOT allowed. Please respect this so that access does not become an issue! Thanks in advance, Colby W.
Description
Northerly facing steep slab wall. There are several giant and stacked blocks on the bottom left of the wall that are quite impressive to look at. Still needs traffic to clean up, but overall a really splendid wall with great crimps.
New development includes routes to the left of drowning machine and the impressive-looking stacked blocks with a generally moderate, juggy nature following good holds up unique rock. A nice spot with easier climbing for those busy weekends. Watch out for poison oak (the only place I've seen it at the Emeralds - but its there!)
