Description
A stumpy little dome slab rising out of the foliage.
Packed with routes ranging from easy to not-so-much. Routes here tend to be a bit spicier than the neighboring Placa del Canalla.
Grade spread from IV to 7a+ amongst the 14 routes with the majority of the routes 6a-6b (5.10 friction).
Excellent granite friction climbing with a bit more variety than just pure slab. A great location to get your friction addiction dialed before launching up any of the test pieces or old, run out classics.
Caution: the routes here are a full 30m. Knot the blunt end of the rope prior to lowering a partner.

Getting There
From the parking lot at El Tranco (or the main trial north of the houses), look up and west (left) and find the crag. Placa del Tranco is distinctive with a slab to the right of a right-facing corner crack with a big flake sticking out of it.
Take the well-travelled trail through the brush straight to the crag with a short scramble up through blocks at the base.
About 15 minute approach.
