Description Suggest change

Home of Ópus, the hardest established route in Iceland, going at 5.13d.

It will also be the home of your wet shoes. Bring some much boots, because most of this area usually has standing water right up to the base of the cliff. The name of the area, Vatnsból, means "water well".

Getting There Suggest change

If you reach the second (little) waterfall and stream, you've gone too far. It is just before this waterfall. You'll keep walking to the SW of Ölduból past a bunch of choss and low, broken cliff portions until you get to the good rock with water all around it.
