Description

The furthest sector to the east at Limski Kanal, Gavranik is also the only sector at this area which rises above the road.

Compact limestone with fun features. Wide range of grades for the visiting climber. The bulk of the moderate and easy routes are located on the far right side of this crag.

32 routes from 4b+ to 8a in heights from 8 to 25 meters. Bolted sports climbing.

Some older hardware has yet to be replaced so take care. The newer fixed anchors are glued in bolts and appear bomber.

Getting There

Approach per Limski Kanal and at the turn off to the resort/restaurant area (located on the sea), look for the Gavranik face above the road. The road literally goes around this rock but its easy to miss while enjoying the glimpses of the canal below.

If the rock is missed the road goes up a hill to some roadside vendor stands (with a nice tower view of the Limski Kanal): turn around and go back down hill.

There's small parking lots on the side of the road both before and after the rock face.
