DescriptionThis boulder sits just off the trail, at the far edge of the Fenway area and the beginning of the Mt. Spickett area. Generally shady, the boulder is framed by trees and large blocks sit imposingly in the fall zone. The boulder has a sharp-edged crack that runs the length of its south face - it begs to be climbed. You'll want lots of pads, an active spotter, or strong fingers.
Getting ThereF14 on caltopo map
Approach is about 10 minutes from the parking lot. Head along the outfield fence of the softball field towards the woods. Head up the steep slope and follow the trail all the way through the Fenway area. When you come to a fork in the trail, take a left. The boulder will be on the left side of the trail just as it begins to wind its way uphill towards Mt. Spickett.
