Jingling Valley Rock Climbing

Jingling valley (精灵谷)
Elf Valley

Jingling (精灵) Valley is a scenic, roughly 50 square km area with many sub areas and more potential for development. There are presently 200+ climbs.

Area is approached from the parking off the main road on the east and past the hotel/hostel (which you can certainly stay at if you're planning a multi-day outing). As you move west and north, you encounter the following areas in roughly this order:

养生堂 (health hall)
精灵谷二楼 (elf valley 2nd floor)
凉亭 (gazebo)

空中花园 (sky garden) (sky garden is north past the gazebo. Following along the same trail, it takes twice as long to get to sky garden as it does to get to gazebo)

大洞区(daido ward)
鹰嘴岩(eagle rock)
小洞天 (xiaodong tian)
精灵影院(elf cinema)
露天剧场 (ampitheater)
露天圆桌抱石(open air round table bouldering)
青石区(bluestone district)
灵泉区(lingquan district)
桃源抱石区(tauyuan bouldering area)
世外桃源(paradise)
落日下(under the sunset)

三楼 (elf valley third floor)

精灵瀑(fairy falls) (Fairy Falls is actually quite remote from the rest taking about as as long to walk to as it takes to get to "under the sunset" area, at the far end of jingling (elf) valley)

Good for beginners, mostly 10's routes. Shady in the morning. Excellent granite rock.
