Description

Punkie is small and solid. The landings the line the west face overhang are ideal, and there are at least two problems that climb it. The problems are very short in nature but are worth a spin if your pride can bear it.

Getting There

From the green gate parking area, head downhill on the foot path, cross East Creek, head uphill a short distance, make a left on the dirt track, make a right when near Birdhouse, and continue past Moby Dick and uphill toward the canyon rim through a sagebrush meadow. Upon reaching Gunny Gold, head south about 40 yards. Reference the page map for a precise location.
