Description

One of the quiet beautiful valleys of the English Lake District.. It has a very old church where there has been such a building for over 700 years .. Some really nice walks and scenery

Getting There

From the town of Penrith in the county of Cumbria . drive to the village of Pooley Bridge then the small country road along the west side of Lake Ullswater to the Village of Howtown . From here continue up the narrow road that brings you to a dead end in Martindale
