Description
First Boulder is a medium-sized erratic with slabs and a short, overhung face. There is a triangular-shaped notch on the north side and some graffiti on the overhung face. See the photo.
Getting There
Cross the dam with the short bridge traveling east from Spring Pond Road. Follow the trail that runs on the east side of the pond. Walk for about 1/4 mile until you get to a rock wall that runs perpendicular to the trail. Follow the wall to the left (southeast) until you see First Boulder less than 100 feet away from the trail.
