Access Issue: Bates Security + Sending = Overall Bad Details

All was hunky dory at Bates College until liability came along and killed freedom. Now bouldering is best done under the cover of the nights directly following a full moon.

Description

Thanks to generous donations in the not so distant past, Bates was able to secure its fair share of Maine granite. After it was forcefully exhumed from its home in the ground, it was reconstructed to form beautiful aretes and less impressive window sills. Bates also appears to have only recently discovered that brick is just one of many building materials. Thus, brick is the dominant rock type in this location.

Getting There

From Lewiston, follow the trail of Vineyard Vines pastel shorts and Canada Goose jackets towards a strange outcropping of brick buildings and green grass.
